Methods of EPF registration for employees


1. i-Akaun (Employer)
  1. Applicable for employers who have registered and activated their i-Akaun.
  2. Only applicable to employees who are Malaysian citizens and permanent residents.

2. Auto Registration via Monthly Contribution Form (Form A)
  1. Employees who have not registered with EPF will automatically be registered upon submission of Form A which contains the employees' MyKad number. 
  2. Only applicable to Malaysians and Permanent Residents with MyKad.
3. Form Submission via mail or EPF counter
  1. Employee's MyKad and Form KWSP 3 (if required) for Malaysians/Permanent Residents.
  2. Employee's passport/work permit/visa for non-Malaysians who choose to contribute with Form KWSP 16B and KWSP 3 for non-Malaysians who choose to contribute.
4. Employee Registration with MyKad
  1. The employee is required to be present at the EPF counter with MyKad. 
  2. Upon registration with MyKad chip, employees will receive their EPF membership number.
